Paul’s wealth of knowledge and experience makes him one of the most sort after sports therapists in Australia, with clients travelling nationally and internationally to work with him.
He is known for bringing strong scientific principles to his programming and treatment, and for his ability to apply these principles to meet individual goals and needs.
With over 16 years clinical experience in professional sport and private practice settings in Australia & the UK, Paul has worked with some of the best athletes in the world including: elite track and field athletes, Australian Junior National Squad swimmers, members of the Russian National Gymnastics Team, a member of the Australian Junior Special Swim Team, a nationally ranked New Zealand downhill mountain biker, Head Therapist for the 2011 QLD Rugby Union City Team, Head of Rehabilitation for GPS Premier Grade Rugby Union, NFL players, CrossFit games participants, Commonwealth Games athletes, elite Olympic weightlifters, circus artists, and international musicians.
As a sports therapist and exercise physiologist, Paul specialises in all stages of injury rehabilitation, advanced progressive overload programming, and functional and static postural assessment for corrective exercise prescription.
Alongside his clinic work, Paul is passionate about education. He has lectured at the University of Queensland, the Queensland Athletic Seminar, and worked as Head Lecturer at a private Brisbane college. He runs regular courses for practicing clinicians through Exercise and Sports Science Australia and has developed nationally accredited education courses for allied health industry professionals.
Paul attained his Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Therapy (Hons.) from North London University in 2003 and has been working in the field ever since.
