Lisa is an Exercise Physiologist, and a professional strength and conditioning coach. She completed her degree at the University of Queensland and is currently studying her Masters in Sports Science majoring in strength and conditioning for athletes.
Her passion lies in track and field where she trains and competes nationally in pole vault. Lisa competed at the 2017 Australian Championships placing 2nd in Australia. She has international competitive aspirations.
Coming from a competitive background she works and trains with nationally and internationally ranked track and field athletes. She has a vast understanding of developmental training and rehabilitation for strength and power sports. Her track and field history gives her experience in running mechanics and bio-mechanical analysis for power and speed development. Furthermore, she has expertise in Olympic lifting and plyometric based conditioning.
Lisa understands the demands of high performance training as well as periodisation for competitive seasons. She’s worked with seasonal athletes in individual and team sports to peak for national performance with expertise in phasic training, tapering and recovery. Her experience with triathletes has given her a good basis for balancing strength and conditioning with sports specific development.
Lisa also has experience working with crossfit athletes, having work specifically in programming for athletic development and rehabilitation.
Lisa has her qualification from Sports Medicine Australia and has worked in acute injury rehabilitation. She has a strong history of youth athletic development with 8 years experience in competitive gymnastics coaching. Her work scope includes injury rehabilitation and strength and conditioning to achieve high performance goals.

• 2.5 years experience in track and field strength and development

• Ongoing exposure to a variety of musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiopulmonary conditions
• Lecturer at University of Queensland – Advanced Exercise Physiology (2015)
• Currently studying Masters in Sports Science
• 7 years competitive gymnastics coaching experience
