Paul attained his Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Therapy (Hons.). from North London University in 2003 and has been working in the sport field ever since. The Sports Therapy Degree combines principles of both the traditional Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology Degrees which has allowed Paul to develop a unique method of practice and an ability to work with clients at any stage of injury or level of fitness. As a sports therapist and exercise physiologist, he specialises in all stages of injury rehabilitation, advanced progressive overload programming, diagnostic skill development testing, and functional and static postural assessment for corrective exercise prescription.

During the course of his career he has worked with some of the best athletes in the world including: Track and Field Olympic medallists, Premier League Soccer teams, Australian Junior National Squad Swimmers, the Dragon Boat World Champion Team Captain, Members of the Russian National Gymnastics Team, Member of the Australian Junior Paralympic team, the Women’s No. 2 ranked New Zealand Downhill Mountain Biker, Head Therapist for the 2011 QLD Rugby Union City Team, Head of Rehabilitation for GPS Premier Grade Rugby Union.

Paul is renowned for his exceptional ability to apply strong scientific principles to his programming and treatments and has long been heavily involved in educating the upcoming generation of clinicians. Along with his 14 years of clinical experience in both professional sport and private practice settings he has undertaken a number of roles as a clinical educator including Allied Health Director and Head Exercise Physiologist at two of QLD’s largest allied health companies and was also Head Lecturer at a private personal training college in Brisbane. In addition to this he has developed 6 nationally accredited education courses for PT’s and Exercise Physiologists.
